Studies, particularly one that appeared in the June issue of the Journal of Consumer Research, suggest that repeated exposure to one product through banner ads encourages positive perceptions towards the product. This shift in attitude is explained by two models, the first of which holds that people assign positive attributes to the things that they easily remember.
