Five Adobe Shortcuts

Both as an instructor and as a user of Adobe products I am constantly looking for more efficient ways to work and navigate Adobe’s programs. Five shortcuts are my daily use:
To convert most tools into the Move tool, press the Control (CTRL key).
To convert most tools into the Zoom tool, press CTRL + Spacebar
The Spacebar can be used to transform most tools into the Hand tool by pressing the Spacebar.
CTRL + Z will undo any errors (this works with all programs I know).
CTRL + W will close any file: a workbook, presentation, database, file, document, workbook, presentation, or Illustrator file. This works for most files. There are exceptions. It doesn’t work with Crystal Reports, for example.
Shortcuts can only be second nature when they become second-nature. Practice, practice and practice until then!

Southern California Clouds

The cloud is changing organizations and the world. Will you be ready for it?
We live in a world that has more devices than people and produces more data than people can use. Technology has accelerated the pace of change. This has caused disruptions in both our personal and professional lives. It used to be that trends were discussed in isolation – CoIT and BYOD, IoT, etc. While the trends are still important and have an impact on their own, they also have an impact on the whole. We need to rethink productivity if we want to be successful as individuals as well as as companies. When we make things happen, we are productive. Our experienced technical experts will introduce “reinventing productivity” and explain how Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility Suite have been adapted to meet current customer requirements.

Cisco Learning Credit Program Announces Changes

Cisco’s Learning Credit Program was created over 10 years ago to give customers the freedom to plan when, where and what training they need to achieve their goals. As with many other things in the past few years, digitization has greatly improved training and learning. Cisco concluded that the current Learning Credit program was not in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements. It also does not meet client expectations and evolves with clients.
“Our clients are experiencing more network changes due to working from home and Covid-19 impact than ever before,” said Cisco. Cisco’s decision to adapt this program to the needs of current clients and market is a great step in continuing to provide employee development. Ryan Landry, President, New Horzions Learning Group.
Cisco has decided to end the reimbursement of Cisco Learning Credits with Learning Partners for classes that begin after June 14, 2021. The program will be reevaluated and reexamined. We are currently working with Cisco’s Partner Sales, CX Partner Practice and CX Partner Practice teams in order to create a more modern and digitized model that better represents and strengthens the continued success of our valued Clients.
